She is known for her flora and fauna, and her paintings of native birds and flowers from her lovely garden have sold far and wide.  She paints in acrylic and mixed media.  She is also well known for her outdoor paintings which grace many gardens and brighten the walls.  These are painted and sealed in outdoor materials and will last for many years to come. Do call in on a Friday and meet the artist on duty.

Bruce McLaren Retirement Village Art Showcase
Sat 12 & Sun 13 March 2016  10am-4pm

The Art Showcase at Bruce McLaren as stated below was a great show and thoroughly enjoyed by all who came.  It is hopefully the first of many to be held there.  In fine surroundings, and with a relaxed atmosphere, both public and residents wandered through the exhibition taking in the many different and varied styles, mediums and subjects of painted works. With a very comfortable nearby lounge available for a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake, many came back again for a second look and finally went home with a treasured work of art.
