We are an Incorporated Society in New Zealand comprising some 140 members of all ages and origins, and we are based in Howick, a town within East Auckland area, located approximately 25 kilometers to the south and east of the city of Auckland itself. The group membership is largely amateur. but with enough professional and semi-professional people to be able to put on a good exhibition several times a year within the Howick area.
The group is operated entirely by volunteers. We enjoy support from local art supply shops. We are also sponsored by Creative New Zealand, Manukau City.
