About Us
We are a friendly and vibrant Incorporated Society based in Howick, East Auckland, with around 130 members of all ages, backgrounds, and artistic interests. Located approximately 25 kilometres southeast of central Auckland, our group brings together people who share a passion for art and creativity.
While most of our members are enthusiastic amateur artists, we are fortunate to have a number of professional and semi-professional artists within our ranks. This mix of experience and talent enables us to present high-quality exhibitions throughout the year for the local community to enjoy.
The Howick Art Group is run entirely by dedicated volunteers whose enthusiasm and commitment help make our activities and events possible. We are grateful for the ongoing support of local businesses, as well as funding assistance from Howick Local Board and Creative New Zealand Manukau City.
Our home base is Green Gables Cottage at 66 Cook Street, Howick.
