Information for New Members
We are thrilled that you are considering joining the Howick Art Group! Following is some information about signing up and what is expected. We look forward to meeting you at our Howick Art Group club nights!
You can obtain a ‘Membership’ form at one of our monthly meetings or request one by emailing the club at howickartgroup@gmail.com .
A membership fee of $50 required on joining and then due again on November 1st for the following year ending October 31st.
All members are required to attend at least four of our monthly meetings per year as per the constitution, to assist with various duties on Club Nights, and to help with duties at the Cottage or at our yearly exhibition in September.
Membership entitles you to display your original artwork at the Green Gables Cottage Gallery, at various other events that the Howick Art Group may have, and attend discounted workshops.
Weekend and weekday workshops may be arranged for members and these operate on a first paid quota. We also have other activities through the year that may require registration. Workshops and other activities will be promoted via email, newsletter and the club Facebook group.
